金融庁 損害保険ジャパンに報告徴求命令 情報漏えいの可能性で
外部から不正なアクセスを受け、契約者の名前や住所などの情報が最大でおよそ1750万件漏えいした可能性があると公表した損害保険ジャパンに対し、金融庁が事実関係の確認などを求める報告徴求命令を出したことがわかりました。
損害保険ジャパンは、社内のシステムが不正なアクセスを受け、契約者の名前や住所、保険の証券番号など最大でおよそ1750万件の情報が漏えいした可能性があると11日に発表しました。
このうち、名前や住所、電話番号、メールアドレスを含むものが905万件、すぐには個人や企業が特定ができない証券番号や事故番号が844万件だとしています。
これについて金融庁は、不正アクセスの状況やセキュリティー対策が十分だったかどうかを確認するため、会社に対して法律に基づく報告徴求命令を出したことが、関係者への取材でわかりました。
事実関係の確認のほか、再発防止策などについても報告を求める方針です。
企業が不正アクセスを受けて膨大な情報が流出したり、サービスや事業活動が一時中断したりする事例があとを絶たず、セキュリティー対策のさらなる強化が課題となっています。
