楽天ペイ、請求書払いに“予約機能”
楽天ペイメントは「楽天ペイ」アプリにおいて、「楽天ペイ(請求書払い)」に支払い予約機能を追加した。順次提供を開始する。
「楽天ペイ(請求書払い)」は、税金や公共料金などの請求書に記載されたバーコードやQRコードを読み取ることで、楽天ポイントや楽天キャッシュを使って支払える機能。今回、支払日を事前に設定できるようになった。
利用者は支払い予約を行なうことで、指定日に自動で支払いが実行されるほか、設定した支払日の前には通知を受け取れる。この通知により、楽天キャッシュの残高不足に気付きやすくなり、支払い漏れを防止できる。さらに、オートチャージ機能と併用することで、指定額を下回った際に自動で楽天キャッシュをチャージする。
なお、支払い予定日は、予約を行なった翌日から最大1年後までの範囲で設定可能。また一部の請求書では、楽天ポイントが利用できない場合もある。
