セイコーは、セイコープロスペックスから、世界中のセイコーファンによる投票で選ばれた特別な限定モデルを10月9日（金）より、全世界4500本の数量限定で発売する。新作は、2025年にセイコーのダイバーズウォッチ誕生60周年を迎えたことを記念し、世界中のセイコーファンの投票によってデザインを決定した、特別なダイバーズウォッチとなる。人気投票は2025年7月1日（火）～31日（木）の1カ月間、インターネットや60周年を記念したイベント会場を通じて、世界中で行われた。投票時のラインアップは4モデルあり、日の出から夕暮れまで、時間と共に変化していく美しい海の情景を鮮やかなカラーリングで表現。今回、世界中のセイコーファンからもっとも多くの票を獲得したは、“Daytime Blue”がテーマ。日の出から昼にかけて太陽の光に照らされた海の情景を映したモデルとなる。 1965年、国産初のダイバーズウォッチとして発売されたモデルは、卓越した視認性を備え、当時としては画期的な150メートルの防水性能や優れた耐久性を実現したエポックメーキングな腕時計。1960年代後半には、南極の過酷な環境下で使用されることで、その高い信頼性が実証された。本作は、そのセイコーダイバーズウォッチの原点を現代に受け継ぐ「ダイバーズ 1965 ヘリテージ」のデザインを踏襲。日の出から昼にかけて天高く昇る太陽の光に照らされ、鮮やかな青色に輝く海を映したブルーを、ダイヤルとベゼル表示板に採用。さらにダイヤルには、セイコーダイバーズ60周年を記念して発売された限定モデルに採用された、特別な型打ちパターンを施している。裏ぶたには、「LIMITED EDITION」の文字とシリアルナンバーがマーキング。信頼性の高い6R系のムーブメントを搭載しており、その持続時間は72時間を誇る。300メートルの空気潜水用防水性能を備えている。
