28日午後4時27分、熊本県熊本地方を震源とする地震があり、熊本県の宇城市と氷川町で震度7の揺れを観測しました。

このほか、▼震度6強の揺れはいずれも熊本県で熊本市南区、八代市、宇土市、美里町、益城町です。

▼震度6弱の揺れは熊本県の上天草市、合志市、大津町、西原村、御船町、芦北町で観測しました。

気象庁の観測によりますと震源地は熊本県熊本地方、震源の深さは10キロ、地震の規模を示すマグニチュードは7.1と推定されています。
