初の一兆円超え、2024年国内セキュリティ市場 ～ IDC 予測
IDC Japan 株式会社は3月6日、最新のグローバルセキュリティ市場におけるテクノロジー・産業分野・企業規模別の予測を発表した。
同社ではセキュリティに関わるハードウェア、ソフトウェア、サービスについて26の産業分野、5の企業規模およびコンシューマー市場に対し、国内市場を含むグローバルな支出額分析を「IDC Worldwide Security Spending Guide 」として提供している。
2024年2月に発行した同レポートによると、セキュリティ市場のグローバル市場支出額は2024年に前年比11.5％増となる2,385億米ドル、2022年から2027年の年間平均成長率（CAGR：Compound Annual Growth Rate）は11.7％で成長し、2027年に3,289億ドルに達すると予測している。国内市場の支出額では、2024年は前年比7.6％増の1兆455億円で、初めて1兆円を超える支出額規模に達すると予測している。
同社では企業と消費者のデジタルシフトに伴うセキュリティリスク拡大への対策や個人情報保護・コンプライアンス対応として、AIを活用したサイバーセキュリティ対策が拡大し、国内セキュリティ支出額の2022年から2027年のCAGRは7.2％で成長し、2027年に1兆2,488億円に達すると予測している。
IDC Japan Software/Service Solutions グループディレクターの眞鍋敬氏は「国内セキュリティ市場では生成AIを含むAIによる人材／スキル不足の補完を行い、リスク診断、攻撃検知や対策／復旧の自動化などのセキュリティリスク低減施策が今後重要になる」とコメントしている。
