米関税措置 政府 相手側と意思疎通続け粘り強く交渉続ける方針
アメリカの関税措置をめぐり、トランプ大統領が日本への圧力を強めるような発言を繰り返す中、政府はあらゆるレベルで相手側との意思疎通を続け、「相互関税」の一時停止の期限延長を求めることも含め粘り強く交渉を続ける方針です。
アメリカのトランプ大統領は関税措置を受けた日米交渉に関連し、自動車やコメの貿易が不公平だと不満を示すなど、日本への圧力を強めるような発言を繰り返しています。
石破総理大臣はトランプ大統領の発言の一つ一つにコメントしないとしたうえで「日米は真摯（しんし）にお互いに国益実現のため協議を重ね一致点を見いだすべく最善の努力をしている」と述べました。
また赤澤経済再生担当大臣は「両国の国益をかけた協議なので一筋縄ではいかない面は当然ある。国益をしっかり守り合意にこぎ着けたい」と強調しました。
こうした中、来週9日には「相互関税」の一時停止の期限を迎えます。
日本政府内からはトランプ大統領の発言について「圧力を通じて交渉を優位に進めるねらいがあるのではないか」と警戒する声の一方、「日本と早く合意したいという意志の表れの可能性もある」といった見方も出ています。
政府は赤澤大臣が近く改めてアメリカを訪問する案を検討するなど、あらゆるレベルで相手側との意思疎通を続け、「相互関税」の一時停止の期限延長を求めることも含め、粘り強く交渉を続ける方針です。
