近鉄、有料座席サービス「すわれ～る」
近鉄は、近鉄初の一般車両での有料座席指定サービス「すわれ～る」を6月1日に開始する。5月19日から運行を開始する新型車両を活用する。サービス提供区間は大阪阿部野橋駅～古市駅間。料金は300円。
南大阪線、吉野線、長野線、御所線で運行を開始する新型一般車両 6A系を活用。平日夕方ラッシュの18時50分に大阪阿部野橋駅を発車する吉野行き急行の先頭車1両をサービス提供車両とし、座席はクロスシートにて運行する。「すわれ～る券」を持っていない人はサービス提供車両への立ち入りはできない。
対象区間となる古市駅到着後もそのまま座れるが、通常の車両としての運用となるため座席確保はできない。
すわれ～る券の販売は「すわれ～る」予約サイトのみで、乗車当日の午前5時30分から発売する。定員は36名。車内での販売は行なわれない。なお、6月1日のみ発売は10時から。
オープニングキャンペーンとして、通常300円のところ、6月30日まで200円で提供する。
