OpenAIは11日(米国時間)、サイバー防衛に特化したフロンティアAI活用のサイバー防御イニシアチブ「Daybreak」を発表した。ソフトウェアを継続的に保護するための取り組みで、企業におけるソフトウェアセキュリティの強化に取り組む。 AIの利用拡大とともに、AIを活用したサイバー攻撃への懸念が高まる中で、サイバー防御に特化した取り組みとしてDaybreakを展開。OpenAIのAIモデルのインテリジェンスと、エージェント型ハーネスとしての「Codex」の拡張性、セキュリティ・フライホイールにおけるパートナー各社の知見を組み合わせて、ソフトウェアを堅牢に設計することを目指す。セキュリティ防御担当者は、Daybreakによりセキュアなコードレビュー、脅威モデリング、パッチ検証、依存関係リスク分析、検知、是正ガイダンスなどを、日常的な開発サイクルに取り入れ可能とし、ソフトウェアを最初からより強靭なものにできるとする。利用目的・認証レベルに応じて3モデルを用意し、GPT-5.5やGPT-5.5 with Trusted Access for Cyber、GPT-5.5-Cyberなどを活用。利用にはOpenAIへの申請または営業への問い合わせが必要となる。 Introducing Daybreak: frontier AI for cyber defenders.
