あす2月22日「忍者の日」滋賀 甲賀市役所の職員が忍者姿で業務
2月22日は「にん・にん・にん」の語呂合わせから「忍者の日」とされています。忍者の里として知られる滋賀県甲賀市では、1日前倒しして、21日、市役所の職員が忍者姿で業務にあたっています。
甲賀市は、隣接する三重県伊賀市などとともに「にん・にん・にん」と読める2月22日を「忍者の日」と定め、毎年観光PRに取り組んでいます。
甲賀市役所では、22日が土曜日のため1日前倒しし、21日、職員らが「にん・にん・にん」と唱えたあと、赤や黒などの生地に「甲賀流」と書かれた忍び装束に着替えて、パソコンで作業をしたり資料をコピーしたりしていました。
中には、自前の忍び装束を着て本格的な忍者になりきっている職員や、わらのかごを被り僧侶姿にふんしている様子を再現している職員もいました。
甲賀市観光企画推進課の奥村泰雅主事は「忍者姿は動きやすく、仕事がいつもよりもスピーディーにできていると思います。『忍者の日』にあわせてさまざまなイベントを行っているので、忍者の街に遊びに来てほしい」と話していました。
