新・代々木公園を見てきた 原宿と渋谷の中間に新たな賑わい空間
代々木競技場第一体育館の南側に整備された「都立代々木公園(神南一丁目地区)」(以下、新・代々木公園)内に、日本初上陸となるハワイアンレストラン「Tiki's Tokyo(ティキズ トウキョウ)」および併設する「NORTH SHORE CAFE」が、4月25日にオープンする。運営する東急不動産らは、メディア向け内覧会を実施した。

新・代々木公園の所在地は東京都渋谷区神南1-1-1で、従来よりある代々木公園からは離れた場所にある。アクセスはJR原宿駅・東京メトロ明治神宮前駅から徒歩8分。渋谷駅からも徒歩12分でアクセスできる。
公園内には、天然芝の「にぎわい広場」、スケートボードを楽しめる「屋外アーバンスポーツパーク」、芝生広場を見下ろす場所にある「発信テラス」、インフォメーションセンター「公園管理所」、東京都のPark-PFI活用による公募対象公園施設「代々木公園 BE STAGE」がある。BE STAGEは東急不動産、東急、石勝エクステリア、東急コミュニティーの4社からなる「代々木公園 STAGES」が推進している。
2月20日に、にぎわい広場や屋外アーバンスポーツパーク(スケートボード広場)などが開放、BE STAGE内では3月15日にニューバランスのショップ、4月1日にダンスやストリートスポーツのスタジオ「Spot. Yoyogi Park」がオープンした。アーバンスポーツパークは改造工事を行なっており、エリア・セクション数を縮小して開放している。
BE STAGEではそのほか、オーガニック食品、ヨガやフィットネス、アーバンスポーツ関連グッズなどを取りそろえる「&102」、スポーツ×インターナショナルに特化した複合型教育施設「YOYOGI-PARK “まなぶ”」などが開業予定。
4月25日にオープンするTiki's TokyoおよびNORTH SHORE CAFEは、BE STAGEの1階に出店。東急不動産、Zero-Ten、EDGEof Creativeが設立した「Tiki’s SHIBUYA 有限責任事業組合」が運営する。ハワイ・ホノルルのワイキキビーチ沿いにある「Tiki's Grill & Bar」の日本初上陸店舗で、ゲストを家族のように迎えるおもてなしを特徴としている。
Tiki's Tokyoは約140席のパークフロント大型レストランで、ハワイのシグニチャーディッシュに加えて、日本食材を取り入れたハワイアンメニューなど、ハワイと日本の食文化の融合を高めたメニューを提供する。
パーティプランの導入も予定しているほか、レストラン全体の貸し切りも可能で、ウエディングパーティなどで利用できる。6月には屋上にバーベキュー広場を開業する。また、約半数の席が犬同伴可能で、犬用メニューやドッグサービスも用意する。
隣接するNORTH SHORE CAFEでは、ハワイアンコーヒーとマラサダ、アイスクリームなどをテイクアウト可能。ハワイの伝説的サーファーの名を冠したブランド「DUKE KAHANAMOKU」の商品も取り扱っており、アパレルアイテムやドリップパックコーヒー、パンケーキミックスを販売する。
