アメリカのトランプ大統領は、ウクライナとロシアの和平交渉での領土の扱いをめぐり、ロシアが一方的に併合した南部クリミアについて、「取り戻すことは非常に難しい」と述べました。クリミアの占領を認めないウクライナのゼレンスキー大統領との立場の隔たりが際立っています。

アメリカのトランプ大統領は24日、ホワイトハウスで記者団に対し、ロシア軍の大規模な攻撃によってウクライナの首都キーウで12人が死亡したことについて、「和平について話し合っている最中にミサイルが発射された。気に入らない」と述べ、不満を示しました。

また、和平交渉での領土の扱いをめぐり、ロシアが2014年に一方的に併合したウクライナ南部のクリミアについて、「彼らはすんなり明け渡したのに、今になって『取り戻せるか』と言う。それは非常に難しいことだと思う」と述べました。

一方、ロシア側がどのような譲歩を示しているか聞かれたのに対し、「停戦して、国の全土を奪うことをやめることだ。かなり大きな譲歩だ」と述べました。

トランプ政権の和平案には、ロシアによるクリミアの占領をアメリカが法的に承認することなどが盛り込まれていると報じられ、クリミアの占領を認めないウクライナのゼレンスキー大統領との立場の隔たりが際立っています。
