京都 電柱のコウノトリ巣でヒナ3羽誕生 NHKの撮影で確認
国の特別天然記念物のコウノトリが京都府京丹後市の電柱に作った巣で、ヒナが3羽誕生したことが確認されました。
京丹後市網野町の電柱には、隣接する兵庫県豊岡市で生まれた国の特別天然記念物のコウノトリのペアが、7年前から毎年、巣を作っています。
市はこの巣で今月7日までにヒナが少なくとも2羽誕生したと公表していましたが、11日、NHKが撮影したところ、ヒナを3羽、確認することができました。
市も確認し、今後、個体を識別するための「足環」を取り付ける作業を来月下旬ごろに行い、6月中旬ごろの巣立ちまで見守りたいとしています。
京丹後市教育委員会によりますと、市内にはコウノトリの巣がほかに2か所ありますが、ことしは、いずれもヒナが確認されていないということです。
子育て中の親鳥は神経質になっていることから、観察の際にはコウノトリを刺激しないようにしてほしいと注意を呼びかけています。
京丹後市文化財保存活用課の村田雅之課長は「ことしもヒナが生まれてうれしい。大きく育って、無事に巣立ってほしい」と話していました。
