楽天トラベルのAIエージェント、宿泊予約に対応
楽天トラベルは、AIエージェント「Rakuten AI」に予約機能を追加した。これにより、宿泊施設の提案から予約までをAIが一貫してサポート可能となる。
Rakuten AIは、2025年9月に提供開始したAIエージェント「楽天トラベルAIホテル探索」の最新版として実装されたもの。楽天トラベルのスマートフォン向けWebページとアプリで提供している。
自然言語を理解して要望を捉える処理能力に加え、クチコミや宿泊施設情報、予約データ、Web検索結果を提案に反映できる点を特徴とする。最大30軒の宿泊施設を一覧で比較したり、地図上に表示したりすることも可能。
予約機能の追加により、ユーザーはAIが提示した候補から宿泊施設やプランを選択し、希望条件が反映されていることを確認したうえで、予約ボタンから予約を完了できるようになった。なお、予約ボタンを「押す」作業は人間が行なう。
事前に楽天IDでログインすると、獲得予定ポイントや利用可能な割引条件を反映した料金を確認でき、氏名や連絡先、カード決済情報の入力も不要となる。また、予約履歴をもとにしたリピート予約にも対応し、同じプランや部屋が利用できない場合は価格帯の近いプランや類似の部屋タイプを提案する。
