水産庁は18日開かれた太平洋クロマグロの資源管理をめぐる国際会議で、日本の近海を含めた中西部太平洋の漁獲枠について2027年から2年間、大型魚を25％増やすことで合意したと発表しました。
会議のあと、鈴木農林水産大臣は会見し「資源の状況に応じた漁獲枠の適切な設定に向けて前進があったと考えている」と述べました。
太平洋クロマグロの漁獲枠をめぐっては7月、長崎市で開かれた国際会議でメキシコが反対したため合意できなかったものの、その後、メキシコが一転して支持を表明し再交渉が行われました。
会議のあと、鈴木農林水産大臣は会見し「資源の状況に応じた漁獲枠の適切な設定に向けて前進があったと考えている」と述べました。
