京都 石清水八幡宮 正月飾り「御神矢」設置 新年の準備進む
京都府八幡市の石清水八幡宮で、長さおよそ8メートルの「御神矢」と呼ばれる正月飾りが設置され新年を迎える準備が進んでいます。
八幡市の石清水八幡宮は、勝負事に御利益があることで知られ、正月の三が日には毎年、およそ10万人が参拝に訪れます。
神社では、新年を迎える準備が進められていて、21日は正月用のお守りやお札が国宝の本殿に集められ、ご神体のみ霊（御霊）を移す神事が行われました。
このあと、境内の竹を切り出して作られた「御神矢」と呼ばれる長さおよそ8メートルの巨大な2本の矢が本殿の前に運ばれました。
石清水八幡宮によりますと、鎌倉時代の元寇の際、亀山上皇が必勝を祈願すると本殿から白羽のかぶら矢が飛んでいき、敵軍が撤退したという故事にちなんで設置しているということです。
訪れた人たちは、一足早くお目見えした巨大な正月飾りを撮影していました。
石清水八幡宮の私市靖権禰宜は「毎年冬至の日に『御神矢』を立てているので、正月が近づいてきた実感がわいてきました。『御神矢』を見て、幸せな1年を過ごしてほしい」と話していました。
