中国の景気減速 現地進出の日本企業で戦略見直す動き
中国の景気が減速し、デフレの懸念も指摘される中、現地に進出する日本の企業の間では、低価格帯の商品を強化した店舗を新たに出店するなど、戦略を見直す動きが出ています。
中国国内におよそ90店舗のスーパーを展開する流通大手のイオンは、ことしに入り中国内陸部の武漢に新たな業態のスーパーを出店しました。
新しい店舗はより低価格帯の商品を中心とするディスカウント業態で、会社ではこうした店舗を2030年までに100店以上に増やす方針です。
一方で、売り上げが伸び悩んでいる一部のスーパーを今月閉店するなど、現地の消費の動向を踏まえ、中国での事業の見直しを進めることにしています。
また、イトーヨーカ堂は、去年12月に北京で店舗の運営を行う子会社を現地の企業に売却し、運営から撤退しました。
会社では内陸部の成都で展開する6店舗のスーパーの経営に注力することにしていて、今後、各店舗の改装などを順次進めることにしています。
