d払いとメルペイの共通QRコードがWeChat Payに対応
NTTドコモとメルペイは、「メルペイ・d払い 共通QRコード」について、WeChat Payへの対応を開始した。共通QRコードを掲示する加盟店のうち「WeChat Pay」のアクセプタンスマークが掲示されている店舗では、中国・テンセントの「WeChat Pay」アプリを使った支払いが簡単に行なえるようになる。
訪日客の増加や中華圏からの旅行者のインバウンド消費について、加盟店の対応を支援する取り組み。月間アクティブユーザーが14億人を超える「WeChat」アプリに搭載された決済サービス「WeChat Pay」と「メルペイ・d払い 共通QRコード」との連携が開始される。
「メルペイ・d払い 共通QRコード」の加盟店は、「WeChat Pay」加盟店として申請・登録すれば、新たな決済端末の導入や複雑な手続きなしで「WeChat Pay」を店頭の決済手段として追加できる。
