Eight、デジタル名刺交換を「エイト♪」の音と振動で通知
Sansanは、名刺アプリ「Eight」のQRコードを用いた名刺交換機能を強化し、QRコードを使って名刺を渡した際にスマートフォンから音と振動が発生し、名刺を「渡した」感覚を実感しやすくした。

Eightは、物理的な名刺だけでなく、デジタル名刺の交換にも対応しているが、紙の名刺に比べて「渡した」という実感が薄く、交換の完了を認識しづらいという課題があった。
今回のアップデートでは、アプリのホーム画面のQRコードを相手が読み取り、名刺情報が送信されたタイミングで、Eightユーザーのスマホから「エイト♪」という音声と振動を発生させる機能を追加。これにより、紙での名刺交換と同様に、名刺が正しく相手に届いたことを直感的に把握できるようにした。Eightユーザー同士の場合は、読み取り側の端末からも音と振動が発生する。
また、QRコードを読み取った相手が名刺情報を保存せずに画面を閉じた場合も、Eightユーザーから相手のメールアドレス宛に名刺情報を後日送信できる機能を追加した。これにより、相手のEight利用に関わらず、デジタル名刺を確実に届けられる。
