東急大井町線、ワンマン運転を32年度に開始
東急電鉄は、2032年度に大井町線でワンマン運転を開始する。対象列車は大井町線全列車で、田園都市線内は大井町線と直通運転する列車のみ。

将来の労働力不足や社会環境の変化への対応に向けた取り組み。ワンマン運転の実施に伴い、列車運行の安全性・安定性のさらなる向上のため、定位置停止支援装置、乗務員支援ホーム監視AI、無線式列車制御システムを導入する。
定位置停止支援装置(TASC)は、列車到着時に所定停止位置に自動停止させる支援機能。所定停止位置への確実な停車や大幅誤停車の防止につなげる。ワンマン運転開始と同時期に導入予定。
乗務員支援ホーム監視AIは、運転台に設置されているホーム上の乗降監視映像を表示するモニターに、AI画像解析技術で検知した特定の状態を通知し、運転士の業務をサポートするもの。東横線で実証実験を進めており、大井町線では準備が整い次第導入する。
無線式列車制御システム(CBTCシステム)は、無線通信技術を活用して列車の位置や速度を連続的に把握し、列車間の安全な間隔を確保する新方式の信号保安システム。先行列車が進行すると、後続列車はその進行距離に応じ、従来システムよりも速やかに進行可能となる。
高い遅延回復効果が得られるとともに、システムを構成する設備全体を2系統設けることで安定稼動につながり、運行の安定性が向上するとしている。31年度に大井町線へ導入するほか、28年度に田園都市線へ導入する。
