SBI証券は、2027年1月からの新制度である「こどもNISA」の開始に向け、「こどもNISA」の口座開設の事前受付を10月1日より開始する。年内から手続きすることで、年明けからスムーズに取引を開始できる環境を提供する。 SBI証券に「こども口座(未成年口座)」を持つユーザーの場合、こどもNISAの申込画面から本人確認書類をアップロードすると、同社と税務署での審査完了後、27年1月にこどもNISA口座が開設される。SBI証券に「こども口座(未成年口座)」を持たないユーザーの場合、親権者の口座にログインし、こども口座の開設を申請する際、同時にこどもNISAの口座開設も選択・申請できる。資産管理アプリ「SBI証券Plus」では、26年7月から親子口座切替機能を追加するなど、家族の資産管理のサポートも強化している。「こどもNISA」は、0～17歳が対象の少額投資非課税制度。教育資金や金融教育への活用を想定したもので、NISAのつみたて投資枠の投資信託を、年間60万円、総額600万円まで非課税で運用できる。払出しは12歳まで原則不可。子が18歳になると成人のNISA口座に自動的に移行する。制度が開始される27年1月に向け、三菱UFJ eスマート証券やPayPay証券など証券各社が「こどもNISA」口座の事前受付を開始している。
