IEA 石油備蓄の放出時期 “アジア・オセアニアでは直ちに”

IEA＝国際エネルギー機関は15日、加盟国で合意したあわせて4億バレルの石油備蓄の放出について声明を発表し、その時期などを明らかにしました。アジア・オセアニアでは直ちに始まるとしています。

日本や欧米諸国などIEAの加盟国は11日、協調してあわせて4億バレルの石油備蓄を放出することで合意していて、IEAがこの時期などについて声明で明らかにしました。

各国からこれまでに提出された計画の内容を踏まえると、アジア・オセアニアでは直ちに始まり、アメリカ大陸やヨーロッパでは3月末になるとしています。

また、地域ごとの放出の規模は、アメリカ大陸が1億9580万バレル、アジア・オセアニアが1億860万バレル、ヨーロッパが1億750万バレルで、合計すると4億1000万バレル余りに上るとしています。

IEAのビロル事務局長は15日、SNSへの投稿で「16日以降、市場に前例のない量の石油が供給される。しかし、安定した輸送を取り戻すためにはホルムズ海峡の開放が極めて重要だ」と改めて強調しています。
