出前館、“配達員の本人確認”刷新 マイナIC+顔認証に
出前館は、配達員登録時の本人確認を大幅に刷新した。NECの技術を導入し、マイナンバーカード・運転免許証に搭載されたICチップを直接読み取る本人確認方式に完全移行する。
NECが金融機関向けに提供している「Digital KYC 本人照合SDK」を採用しており、スマートフォンなどのカメラを用いて配達員の顔を撮影し、ICチップ内の顔写真データと照合する顔認証を実施、本人確認(eKYC)をオンラインでセキュアに実現する。
また、AIを活用して、読み取ったデータと登録情報の照合など審査業務の一部を自動化。確認作業を効率化し、安全性確保と、登録待機時間の短縮の両立を図る。
一連の本人確認フローの高度化に加え、配達稼働前の顔認証など既存の取り組みも行ない、アカウントの第三者利用や不正利用の抑止を強化していく。
出前館では2025年5月、配達員アカウントが第三者により不正に作成され、就労資格のない外国人に貸し出されていた事件が発生。それまでの配達員登録の仕様や審査・管理体制が批判されていた。
