自民 夏の参院選 “与党で過半数の議席維持” 支持の拡大図る
夏の参議院選挙について、自民党は公明党との与党で過半数の議席を維持したい考えで、党の総力をあげて支持の拡大を図ることにしています。
去年の衆議院選挙で、自民党は、選挙前から56議席減らして191議席の獲得にとどまり、公明党と合わせても過半数に届かず、少数与党の状況となりました。
夏の参議院選挙について石破総理大臣は「極めて厳しい選挙を控えているが、自民党のためでなく、日本国や次の時代のために何としても勝ち抜いていきたい」と述べていて、与党で非改選の議席も合わせて参議院全体の過半数の議席を維持したい考えです。
全国に45あるすべての選挙区に候補者を擁立する方針で、まだ決定していない大阪と、東京の2人目の検討を進めています。
また比例代表は33人が立候補した前回・3年前と同程度の擁立を目指して調整を進めています。
公明党とは、選挙区の候補者について原則、それぞれ推薦する選挙協力を行うことで合意しています。
参議院選挙に向けては大型連休中の活動が重要になるとして、各都道府県連に対し、立候補予定者が衆議院の小選挙区支部長らとともに党の政策を訴えるよう求めるなど、党の総力をあげて支持の拡大を図ることにしています。
