企業がクラウドを使う理由「災害時バックアップ」が大幅増加 ～ 総務省 通信利用動向調査
総務省は5月30日、2024年8月末の世帯及び企業における情報通信サービスの利用状況等について調査した「通信利用動向調査」の結果を取りまとめ発表した。

調査結果によると、クラウドサービスを利用している企業の割合は増加傾向が続き、2024年は8割を超えている。利用する理由について尋ねたところ、「災害時のバックアップとして利用できるから」が2023年の36.8％から40.2％と増加率が大きく伸びている。
インターネット利用時の不安について尋ねたところ、利用者の71.8％が何らかの不安を感じていることが明らかになった。年齢階層別に見ると、13～39歳の各年齢階層で不安を感じている人が前年に比べて大きく増加している。
不安の具体的な内容について年齢階層別に見ると、どの階層も「個人情報やインターネット利用履歴の漏えい」が最も高い結果となり、他には「コンピュータウイルスに感染していないか」「架空請求やインターネットを利用した詐欺にあわないか」が上位に挙げられている。
