政府は、23日、ことしの「エネルギー白書」を決定しました。ホルムズ海峡の通航が困難になって以降の政府の対応を振り返った上で、「石油危機以来、積み上げてきた対策だけでは対応しきれない事態が起こる時代に入ったといえる」と指摘しています。

2026年の「エネルギー白書」は、イラン情勢に伴う変化を反映するため、当初の予定より4か月ほど遅れて23日決定されました。

この中では、ホルムズ海峡の通航が困難になって以降、政府は、備蓄していた石油の放出や、代替ルートからの調達を進めるなどして、日本として必要な量の原油を確保できたとしています。

一方で、石油関連製品の一部では、不安感から在庫を積み増す動きが起き、流通の目詰まりや供給の偏りが発生したとしています。

そのうえで、「日本のエネルギー需給構造のぜい弱性が改めて明らかになった。石油危機以来、積み上げてきた対策だけでは対応しきれない事態が起こる時代に入ったといえる」と指摘しています。

白書では、こうした課題に対応するため、海外からの化石燃料の安定調達に取り組むとともに、中長期的には、原子力や再生可能エネルギーなどの活用を進めていく方針を明記しています。
