Xに搭載「Grok」がアプリに iOSアプリを米国で公開
イーロン・マスク氏が率いるAI開発企業のxAIは、AIチャットサービス「Grok」がスタンドアロンで動作するiOSアプリを米国などでリリースした。

GrokはこれまでX内で利用できるサービスだったが、今回のリリースにより、iOS端末で単独のアプリとして利用可能になった。なお、日本でのリリースは未定。
Grokは、当初Xのプレミアム会員向けに提供されていたが、24年12月に無料開放され、全てのXユーザーが利用できるようになった。ユーザーのプロンプトに基づいて画像を生成したり、WebやXからリアルタイムデータにアクセスして最新の情報に基づいた回答を提供したりするなど、多様な機能を備えている。
また、ブラウザで動作するWeb版Grokも準備中としている。
