岡山 後楽園 特別天然記念物のタンチョウ 園内散策
日本三名園の1つ、岡山市の後楽園で、国の特別天然記念物のタンチョウが散策する恒例の催しが開かれました。
岡山市北区の後楽園では、飼育しているタンチョウの優雅な姿を楽しんでもらおうと、毎年、この時期から冬にかけて園内を散策させる催しを開いています。
後楽園では、江戸時代にタンチョウを飼い始め、今回は、メスの4羽が芝生に放され、1時間ほど園内を散策しました。
飼育員がタンチョウの声をまねた掛け声をかけると、一斉に空へと飛び立ち、横一列になって園内を羽ばたいていました。
その後、芝生に降り立つと、餌となる虫を探して地面をつつくなどしていました。
訪れた人たちは、タンチョウの様子を写真に収めるなどして楽しんでいました。
50代の男性は「3年前に岡山に来てからこのイベントが気に入っていてずっと来ています。タンチョウの元気な姿が見られてよかったです」と話していました。
後楽園でのタンチョウの散策は来年2月中旬まで合わせて12日間予定されていて、次回は10月13日に行われます。
