シチズン プロマスター新型、北半球各地の時間が分かる「ジオ・トレッカー」
シチズン時計は、「シチズン プロマスター」から、新型ムーブメントを搭載する新作「Geo Trekker」(ジオ・トレッカー)を6月6日に発売する。電波ソーラーの腕時計で、価格は99,000円～110,000円。

ブランド誕生から35周年を迎える「プロマスター」に加わる、新ムーブメント「Cal.H864」を搭載したエコ・ドライブ電波時計。6時位置のサブダイヤルには北半球を描いた回転ディスク「UTC円板針」がセットされており、取り囲むリング上の数字から、北半球各地の大まかな時刻を確認可能。地球が一回転し1日が過ぎる様子を目で楽しむこともできる。
UTC円板針は、秒針が86,400周する間(24時間)に1回転する仕組み。1日が86,400秒であることから、本製品の新型ムーブメントは「Cal.H864」と命名されている。
ダイヤル上の各都市表記や円板部数字には、古地図や航空図でよく見られるようなフォントを採用し、世界の開拓が進んだ1600年代の知的なニュアンスも持たせたとしている。あえて航空計算尺部分とは異なるフォントを活用して判読性も追求した。
太く⻑い時分針と大きめのインデックスで、高い視認性を確保。どちらにも夜光塗料が施される。ワイドオープンで視認性の高いダイヤルやベゼル構造に対し、ケースをすり鉢状にすることで軽やかな印象を強調。裏ぶたには本モデルの特徴である北半球の地図が刻印される。
ムーブメントはソーラー発電でクオーツ式の「Cal.H864」を搭載。電波受信に対応、非受信時の精度は平均月差±15秒。ワールドタイム、充電量表示、パーペチュアルカレンダー、サマータイムの各機能を搭載する。「パーフェックスマルチ3000」として、JIS 1種耐磁、衝撃検知機能、針自動補正機能、高感度受信機能を備える。
ケース・ブレスレットはステンレススチール製。一部はめっきのグレーカラーになる。風防は無反射コーティングのサファイアガラス。防水性能は20気圧防水。大きさはケース径が46mm、厚さが11.5mm。
