自民 選挙対策委員長に木原誠二氏の起用検討
石破総理大臣は、自民党の新たな選挙対策委員長に、木原誠二元官房副長官を起用する方向で検討しています。
自民党は、先の衆議院選挙で議席を大きく減らし、石破政権の発足に伴ってことし9月に選挙対策委員長に就任していた小泉進次郎氏が、敗北の責任をとりたいとして辞任しました。
これを受けて石破総理大臣は、後任となる新たな選挙対策委員長に、木原誠二氏を起用する方向で検討しています。
木原氏は、衆議院東京20区選出の当選6回で54歳。財務省を経て、2005年の衆議院選挙で初当選しました。岸田前総理大臣の側近として知られ、岸田政権で官房副長官や、党の幹事長代理を務めました。
石破総理大臣としては、公明党ともパイプがあるとされる木原氏を起用することで、来年の参議院選挙や東京都議会議員選挙に向けて、態勢を立て直したいねらいがあるものとみられます。
