ソニー、“盆栽”など実物アートをNFTで所有可能に 保管もお任せ
ソニーグループのSNFTは、実物のアートの魅力と利便性をデジタル技術で拡張するという新しいアートプロジェクト「SNFTデジタルフィジカルアート」を3月から開始する。

プロジェクトの第1弾として、盆栽師の平尾成志氏、および盆栽をテーマにアートの可能性を追求するNFTプロジェクト「BONSAI NFT CLUB」とコラボレーションしたNFTコレクション「BONSAI NFT GALLERY on SNFT」がスタート、盆栽作品の「曲」と「線」がSNFTから提供される。価格はそれぞれ500万円。
「SNFTデジタルフィジカルアート」は、保管に高度な管理が必要な一部のアート作品に対応するのが特徴。取得したアートのNFTに保管委託権も紐付けられ、専門家にメンテナンスを委ねた状態で所有できるため、NFTの流通もスムーズになるとしている。今回のコレクションでは、実物の盆栽作品「曲」「線」の所有者は、盆栽園「成勝園」での管理が受けられる。
所有者の満足感を高めるため、ソニーが発表した空間コンテンツや3DCG制作向けの新たなソリューション群「XYN」(ジン)を活用。高品質でフォトリアルな3DCGアセットが制作され、NFTとして提供されるほか、3D空間サイト「SNFT ROOMS」での展示も可能。
ソニー銀行が提供するアプリ「Sony Bank CONNECT」と連携、SNFTで保有しているNFTを表示でき、楽しめる機能を提供する。同アプリ内では、今回のプロジェクト開始を記念した記念NFT「BONSAI NFT MEMBERS」の無償配布も実施される。
本作品のNFTは、ソニーグループのSony Block Solutions Labsが提供するweb3の基盤インフラ「Soneium」(ソニューム)で展開される。
SNFTは、現実世界の資産(Real-world Assets、RWA)とNFTを紐づけるアプローチは世界中の企業が試みており、今後市場の拡大が見込まれる分野としている。
