スーパーの売り上げ 5年連続増も 購入点数は減少傾向続く

全国の主なスーパーの昨年度1年間の売り上げは、食料品の値上げが続いたことなどを背景に既存店どうしの比較で、前の年度と比べて1.4％増え、5年連続で増加しました。一方、消費者の節約志向を背景に1人当たりの購入点数は減少傾向が続いています。

日本チェーンストア協会の発表によりますと、全国の主なスーパー、およそ9400店の去年4月からことし3月までの1年間の売り上げは、12兆7643億円余りとなりました。

既存店どうしの比較では、前の年度より1.4％増え、5年連続のプラスとなりました。

これは加工食品の値上げや、コメやキャベツといった農産品の店頭価格が上昇したことなどによるものです。

一方、食料品の値上がりに伴う節約志向の高まりを背景に、消費者1人当たりの購入点数は、おととし10月以来前の年の同じ月を下回っているということです。

日本チェーンストア協会の担当者は「農産品の相場は少し落ち着いてきているものの、全体的に食料品の価格上昇が続いているので、足元でも買い控えの傾向は続いている」と話しています。
