ノルウェー・ノーベル委員会は日本時間の9日午後6時から、ことしの受賞者を発表します。

世界各地で紛争が相次ぎ、国際法に基づく秩序が揺らぐ中で、戦争犯罪などを裁くICC＝国際刑事裁判所や国家間の紛争を解決するために設けられたICJ＝国際司法裁判所が受賞するか注目されています。

2つの裁判所はともに日本人がトップを務めていて、ICCの赤根智子所長に対してはアメリカのトランプ政権がことし8月に制裁を科しています。

ノーベル平和賞は、1974年に佐藤栄作元総理大臣が、そして2024年には被爆者の立場から核兵器の廃絶などを訴えてきた日本被団協＝日本原水爆被害者団体協議会が受賞しています。
