X、クリエイター向けサブスク強化 限定スレッドなど新機能
Xは6日、クリエイター向けの収益化機能「Creator Subscriptions 2.0」および、投稿の透明性を高める新たなコンテンツ開示機能を発表した。新機能は全ユーザーに提供が開始されている。
「Creator Subscriptions」は、クリエイターが限定コンテンツや舞台裏の情報などを提供し、ファンが購読を通じて直接支援できる仕組み。Creator Subscriptions 2.0ではこの機能を刷新し、購読者の拡大と収益化を支援する機能を追加した。
新機能として、スレッド内の投稿を購読者限定に設定できる「Exclusive Threads(限定スレッド)」を導入。親投稿で内容の一部を公開しつつ、その後の投稿を購読者のみが閲覧できる形で提供できる。また、スレッド内に購読ボタンも表示できるようになった。
このほか、購読のメリットを分かりやすく示す新しいペイウォール、投稿で共有できる購読カード、購読者限定コンテンツをプロフィールのメインフィードに表示する仕組みを追加。2ステップでサブスクリプションを設定できるオンボーディングや、収益状況や購読者情報を確認できるダッシュボードも導入した。

同社は、投稿の透明性を高めるためのコンテンツ開示機能も追加。第三者から報酬やインセンティブを受けた投稿には「Paid partnership(有料パートナーシップ)」ラベルを付けることで、本文中に「Ad」や「Sponsored」などを記載せずに商業的関係を明示できるようになった。
