秋田 大館 新米で郷土料理の「きりたんぽ」作る催し

収穫したばかりの新米使っ秋田県代表する郷土料理きりたんぽ」を作る催しが、大館市開かれました。

この催し秋田県大館市飲食店などでつくる団体が毎年、開いているもので、26日は地元の女性たちが伝統的かすり衣装包み収穫したばかりの新米使っきりたんぽ作り披露しました。 女性たちは、炊きたてのごはんをすり鉢が残る程度潰し粘りを出したあと、巻きつけて手で伸ばしたりの上で転がしたりして形を整えました。

そして、いろりの火で表面が軽くきつね色になるまで焼き、半分ほどに切ったきりたんぽ比内地鶏などと一緒に煮込み、会場を訪れた人たちにふるまいました。 「秋田名物本場大館きりたんぽ協会」の石川博司会長は、「コメの価格上がっているが、新米きりたんぽもちもち香りががいいのでぜひ大館に来て本場の味を楽しんでほしい」と話していました。
