1996年2月27日に『ポケットモンスター赤・緑』が発売され、2026年に30周年を迎えたポケモンシリーズ。ユニクロではポケモン30周年の節目を記念して、2026年3月にも初代作品をテーマにしたシリーズを販売しました。

今回発表されたのは、ポケモンの原点ともいえる“モノクロのドット絵”で表現されたポケモンたちをあしらったシリーズ。メンズでは初代の主人公とヒトカゲ、ジムリーダーの手持ちポケモン、ミュウツー、ピカチュウが描かれた4種のTシャツが登場します。

キッズでは初代主人公とヒトカゲ、コイキングやコダックを含む6匹のポケモン、ピカチュウ、ゲンガーが描かれた4種がラインアップ。同シリーズは2026年7月下旬販売予定とのことなので、気になる方はオンラインストアをチェックしておくとよさそうです。

初代ポケモンのドット絵をあしらった「ポケモン UT」には「最高。これは絶対買う」「意地でも買いたい」「激アツ、胸熱！」「こういうのをまっていたんですよ！！」「ジムリーダーのポケモンのやつが絶対欲しい」といった、たくさんのコメントが寄せられていました。
