ラック、サポート詐欺被疑者検挙に貢献 ～ 警察庁 JC3と連携
株式会社ラックは6月6日、警察庁、一般財団法人日本サイバー犯罪対策センター（JC3）、及びMicrosoft Corporationと連携し、日本を狙ったサポート詐欺の被疑者検挙に貢献したと発表した。
利用者の端末に偽の警告画面を表示し、架空のサポート窓口に電話をかけさせて金銭をだまし取るサポート詐欺は、警察庁の統計によると、2024年は1,524件が発生し、被害額は10億円となっている。
ラックでは、サイバー・グリッド・ジャパンに所属する社員が、JC3での活動を通じて日本におけるサポート詐欺についての観測や情報収集、被害を軽減するための活動を行っており、日本におけるサポート詐欺サイトの情報を共有したことが被疑者の特定に貢献したとのこと。
ラックでは今後も捜査機関や多くのセキュリティ企業とともに、巧妙化が進む犯罪に対する有効な取り組みへの貢献を目指す。
