“春の美しい思い出を” ミズバショウが見頃 北海道 網走湖
北海道のオホーツク海側にある網走湖では、春の訪れを告げるミズバショウが見頃を迎えています。
網走市から大空町にかけて広がる網走湖のほとりには、国内で最大級のミズバショウの群生地が広がっています。
網走市は今月、最高気温が20度を超える日もあるなど暖かい日が多かったことから、ミズバショウは例年よりも1週間ほど早く見頃を迎えています。
湖畔の湿地では鳥のさえずりが聞こえる中、白くかれんなミズバショウが水面から照り返す春の柔らかな日ざしを浴びてキラキラと輝いていました。
ミズバショウの花言葉は「美しい思い出」です。
湖畔にはこの春の思い出を残そうと、写真を撮影する人の姿が見られました。
網走市観光課の津田歩夢さんは「網走はこのあと桜の時期が来るので、桜とあわせてミズバショウを見に来ていただければ」と話していました。
網走湖畔のミズバショウは、大型連休ごろまで楽しめるということです。
