「東京おもちゃショー」開幕 生成AIを活用したロボットも
国内最大規模のおもちゃの展示会が東京・江東区の東京ビッグサイトで始まり、200余りの企業や団体がおよそ3万5000点を展示しています。
メインターゲットは20代から30代
大手電機メーカーが出展したのは生成AIを活用した会話ができるロボットです。
ミーアキャットをモチーフにした手のひらサイズで、人間との会話の内容や見た景色などを記憶し、コミュニケーションをスムーズにとれるのが特徴だということです。
事業の責任者の景井美帆さんは「20代から30代の女性をメインのターゲットにしている。技術をどんどんアップデートして利用者の声で進化させたい」と話していました。
世相を反映した商品も
また、大手おもちゃメーカーはロングセラーの着せ替え人形が住むおもちゃの家の最新商品を展示しています。
▽宅配ボックスを備え付けるなど世相を反映しているほか、
▽視覚障害のある子どもも遊びやすいよう、玄関の扉を開け閉めすると音が鳴る仕組みになっています。
おもちゃの市場規模 過去最高の水準
日本玩具協会によりますと、最近は“キダルト”と呼ばれる子ども心を持ち続ける大人がおもちゃ市場をけん引しているということで、昨年度の国内の市場規模は1兆992億円と前の年度を7.9％上回り、現在の方法で統計を取り始めた2001年以降、過去最高となっています。
日本玩具協会会長「大人マーケットが成長」
日本玩具協会の前田道裕 会長は「少子化という点ではマーケットは縮小していると思われがちだが、実際は子どもに加えて大人のマーケットが大きく成長している。訪日外国人が日本でおもちゃやキャラクターを楽しんでいることも市場が伸びている大きな理由だ」と話しています。
