KDDI NEC サイバーセキュリティ事業で協業
KDDI株式会社と日本電気株式会社（NEC）は5月8日、サイバーセキュリティ事業における協業の検討を開始する基本合意書の締結を発表した。
両社は本締結で、近年巧妙化するサイバー脅威から日本企業・政府機関を守るために、より強固な防御力を提供できる純国産のセキュリティ基盤を共同で構築することで、国内最大規模のサイバーセキュリティ事業の展開を目指している。
両社は本締結に基づき、日本企業や政府機関をより強固なセキュリティ基盤で守る取り組みとして、「AI□インテリジェンス駆動型サイバーセキュリティ」の強化と、日本企業が持つ海外拠点への対応を視野に入れた「グローバルでのセキュリティ監視運用体制構築などの事業オペレーションの高度化」を検討する。
KDDIでは顧客の事業成長と社会課題の解決に貢献するビジネスプラットフォーム「WAKONX」を、NECでは顧客を未来へ導く価値創造モデル「BluStellar」を展開する。
両社では今後、「WAKONX」「BluStellar」を通じて、本締結で構築する純国産のセキュリティ基盤を政府機関や法人顧客に提供することで、重要な情報資産やインフラ、海外拠点をサイバー脅威から守り、安全な事業展開に貢献していくことを目指すとのこと。
