ScanSnap Manager のインストーラに権限昇格につながる脆弱性
独立行政法人情報処理推進機構（IPA）および一般社団法人JPCERT コーディネーションセンター（JPCERT/CC）は8月27日、ScanSnap Managerのインストーラにおける権限昇格につながる脆弱性について「Japan Vulnerability Notes（JVN）」で発表した。縣和平氏、菅賢太郎氏、小林朝瑛氏、冨田貴之氏、山室良晃氏が報告を行っている。影響を受けるシステムは以下の通り。
ScanSnap Managerインストーラ V6.5L61より前のバージョン
株式会社PFUが提供するScanSnap Managerのインストーラには、権限昇格につながる不適切な権限の割り当ての脆弱性（CVE-2025-57797）が存在し、認証されたローカルの攻撃者によって権限を昇格され、任意のコマンドを実行される可能性がある。
PFUでは当該製品のサポートを終了しており、該当製品の使用停止および後継製品ScanSnap Homeへの移行を推奨している。
