コンビニ 郵便局などサービス提供拠点に モデル事業開始で調整
人口減少が進む地域で買い物や行政、医療などのサービスを維持できるよう、内閣府は来年度からコンビニや郵便局などを総合的な拠点として整備するモデル事業を始める方向で調整しています。
政府は先にまとめた地方創生の実現に向けた基本構想で安心して暮らせる地方をつくるため、10年後までにすべての市町村で▽買い物がしやすい環境の向上や▽医療・介護サービスの確保といった取り組みを進めるとしています。
これも踏まえ内閣府は、過疎地をはじめとした人口減少が進む地域で買い物や行政、地域交流、それに医療や災害対応などのサービスを提供する総合的な拠点を整備するモデル事業を来年度から始める方向で調整しています。
具体的にはスーパーやコンビニ、それに郵便局に自治体の窓口を設置することなどを想定していて、企業と自治体のマッチングや有識者の現地派遣などを行う経費5000万円を来年度予算案の概算要求に盛り込みました。
伊東地方創生担当大臣は「1か所で複数のサービスを提供するとともに民間の施設やノウハウを活用した拠点づくりを推進し、低コストで効率的なサービスを提供する。モデル事業で得られた知見を全国で普遍化したい」と話しています。
