エクステリアデザインをアップデートへ！

7月31日、ホンダは、一部改良を施した新しい「アコード」を発表した。アコードは1976年の初代誕生から2026年で50周年を迎えた。現行の11代目モデルは、初代から続く「人と時代に調和したクルマ」という思想を具現化した1台だ。主な特徴として、伸びやかで流麗なデザインを採用するとともに、2.0リッター直噴アトキンソンサイクルエンジンと組み合わせたホンダ独自の2モーターハイブリッドシステム「e:HEV」を搭載。さらに、高速道路などの一定条件下でステアリングから手を離すハンズオフ運転を支援する、全方位安全運転支援システム「Honda SENSING 360+」も採用された。

今回の一部改良では外装デザインが見直された。全タイプ共通の変更点として、サイドマーカーがクリア化されたほか、ヘッドライトガーニッシュと、フロント、サイド、リアの各ロアガーニッシュがボディー同色に変更。また、「e:HEV Honda SENSING 360+」グレードに特化した変更として、キャニオンリバーブルー・メタリックの外装色を選択した場合のみフロントグリルがボディー同色（その他の外装色はピアノブラック）となる。加えて、同グレードのシャークフィンアンテナは基本的にボディー同色であるが、キャニオンリバーブルー・メタリックを選択した場合のみベルリナブラックとなる。

全国メーカー希望小売価格については、「e:HEV」タイプが¥5,951,000。また、より高度な安全運転支援機能を備える「e:HEV Honda SENSING 360+」タイプは¥6,351,400となっている。いずれのタイプも乗車定員は5名で、電気式無段変速機を搭載し、駆動方式はFFだ。
