北海道沖 サケマス流し網漁始まる 例年より1週間以上早い出漁
北海道沖のサケ・マス流し網漁が1日から始まり、根室市の漁港から漁船が一斉に漁に出ました。海水温の上昇などの影響で、ことしは例年より1週間以上早い出漁となりました。
根室市の歯舞漁港では3月31日の夜から漁船の乗組員が食料を船に積み込むなど準備を進め、1日午前0時になると家族などに見送られながら一斉に漁に出ました。
近年の海水温の上昇に伴い、サケやマスが北海道付近に回遊してくる時期が早まっているとみられ、ことしは去年に続いて、例年より時期を1週間以上、早めての出漁となりました。
日本の排他的経済水域のうち、春に北海道の南の太平洋で行われるサケ・マス漁はロシアの川で生まれた魚が多いため、毎年、日本とロシアの政府間交渉で漁獲量などの操業条件を決めていて、水産庁によりますとことしの漁獲枠は去年と同じ2050トンだということです。
出漁を前に漁業者の男性は「早めに出港することができるので非常に期待している。大きくて型のいい魚をとりたいと思う」と話していました。
ことしのサケ・マス漁は根室市や厚岸町など道内各地の港を拠点に合わせて17隻が操業する予定で、6月末まで行われます。
