新型ダッジ・チャージャー R/T登場！ 直列6気筒エンジン搭載へ
V8ではなく6気筒でもパワフルだ！
2026年3月9日、2026年モデルのダッジ「チャージャー」のうち、「R/T」グレードが正式にラインナップに追加された。 R/Tのボンネットの下に収まるのは、新開発の3.0リッター直列6気筒ツインターボ「ハリケーン」エンジンだ。上位グレードの「スキャットパック」が最高出力550hpを叩き出すのに対し、R/Tに搭載されるのは標準出力版のため、最高出力は420hp、最大トルクは468lb-ftに抑えられている。 トランスミッションはZF製の8速ATを組み合わせ、駆動方式はAWD（全輪駆動）を採用。旧型の5.7リッターV8モデル（370hp/395lb-ft）と比較すれば、世代交代によるパフォーマンスの向上は明らかだ。0〜60mph加速は約4.7秒、1/4マイル（ゼロヨン）を約13.0秒で駆け抜け、いずれも先代を上回る実力を持つ。 ドライブモードのうち、スポーツモードに切り替えれば後輪へのトルク配分が増し、AWD特有のアンダーステアが軽減されるという。 標準サスペンションの他に、オプションの「パフォーマンス・ハンドリング・グループ」にはスポーツチューン・サスペンションを含む。後者を選んだ場合、コーナーでの姿勢はフラットになる反面、荒れた路面では乗り心地が犠牲になってしまうそうだ。 2026年型ダッジ・チャージャー R/Tの価格は、2ドアモデルで$51,990から（4ドアはプラス$2000）。
