アドビ、Photoshop・IllustratorなどのAI強化 背景処理をクラウド化
Adobeは4月24日(英国時間)、「Adobe MAX London 2025」を開催し、Creative Cloudに含まれる主要なデザイン・映像制作アプリのアップデートを発表した。Photoshop、Illustrator、InDesign、Lightroom、Premiere Proなどで、AIを活用した新機能が追加されている。

Photoshopでは、「オブジェクト選択ツール」の精度が向上した。従来の人物単位での選択に加え、衣服など細かなパーツ単位での選択が可能となり、背景削除や色調補正などの操作がより効率的に行なえるようになった。
また、「背景を削除」と「被写体を選択」のクラウド処理が可能になり、従来よりも高精度な切り抜きが可能となった。ローカル処理では難しかった複雑な背景にも対応できる。
さらに、「カラーを調整」機能では、画像内で使用されている代表的な色が自動抽出され、色相・彩度・明度の調整が直感的に行なえる。
Illustratorでは、これまでベータ版として提供されていた「生成塗りつぶし(シェイプ)」「ベクターを生成」「パターンを生成」の各機能が正式版となった。プロンプトに応じてベクター素材やパターンを生成し、アートワークに適用できる。形状に合わせた生成や編集が可能で、アイコンや装飾要素の制作に活用される。またパフォーマンスも向上しており、フォントメニューのアクセスやエフェクト処理が最大5倍高速になる。
InDesignでは、ドキュメント内に数式を直接配置・編集できる「数式機能」が追加された。サードパーティー製ツールを使わずに、科学技術文書や教材の編集に対応する。
Lightroomでは、AIによるマスク機能が拡張され、空や植物などに加えて「風景」の自動検出が可能となった。グループ写真のレタッチに役立つクイックアクション機能も強化されている。
Premiere Proでは、動画の尺を自動で延長する「生成延長」機能が正式版として提供開始された。従来のベータ版と異なり、4Kや縦型動画にも対応し、SNS用コンテンツなどで不足しがちな時間尺を自然なかたちで補完できる。加えて、「メディアインテリジェンス」機能では、動画内の映像内容をAIが解析し、特定のオブジェクトや色に該当するシーンを検索、即時ジャンプ可能なUIで表示。大量の素材を扱う編集工程の時短を実現する。
