　独立行政法人情報処理推進機構（IPA）および一般社団法人JPCERT コーディネーションセンター（JPCERT/CC）は6月26日、ExpressUpdate Agent for Windowsにおける名前付きパイプに対するアクセス制御不備の脆弱性について「Japan Vulnerability Notes（JVN）」で発表した。株式会社ラックの飯田雅裕氏が報告を行っている。影響を受けるシステムは以下の通り。

ExpressUpdate Agent for Windows 3.24およびそれ以前

　日本電気株式会社が提供する同社製サーバ製品の更新管理エージェントExpressUpdate Agent for Windowsには、IOCTLに対するアクセス制御不備の脆弱性（CVE-2026-8797）が存在し、当該製品にログインした管理者権限を持たないユーザによって、SYSTEM権限で任意のコードを実行される可能性がある。

　JVNでは、開発者が提供する情報をもとに最新版へアップデートするよう呼びかけている。なお本脆弱性は、「ExpressUpdate Agent for Windows 3.25」で修正されている。
