お盆をふるさとや行楽地で過ごした人たちのUターンラッシュは、高速道路では15日がピークとなり各地で渋滞が発生しています。

日本道路交通情報センターによりますと、午後5時の時点で、各地の高速道路のうち、東京方面に向かう上り線の渋滞は▽関越自動車道が埼玉県にある高坂サービスエリア付近を先頭に17キロ▽東北自動車道は、埼玉県にある羽生パーキングエリア付近を先頭に16キロ▽中央自動車道は、神奈川県にある相模湖インターチェンジ付近を先頭に9キロとなっています。

JR各社によりますと東京方面に向かう新幹線の混雑は16日がピークとなる見込みです。

このうち、東海道新幹線は、「のぞみ」がお盆の期間中、すべての座席が指定席となっていて、16日の午後はほぼ満席となっています。
