大阪シティバス、クレカタッチ乗車を11月に導入
Osaka Metro Groupの大阪シティバスは、11月1日より大阪シティバスの路線バス全線(関西国際空港行リムジンバスを除く)で、クレジットカードなどのタッチ決済による乗車サービスを導入する。
クレジットカードのタッチ決済による乗車サービスは、三井住友カードの公共交通機関向けソリューション「stera transit」を活用。大阪シティバスは大阪市最多の運行数を持つバス事業者で、導入により利便性向上を図る。
乗車方法は、タッチ決済対応のカードやスマートフォンなどを、降車時に専用リーダーにタッチするだけで決済が完了する。対応の決済ブランドはVisa、Mastercard、JCB、American Express、Diners Club、Discover、銀聯。
なお、stera transitは2020年7月の提供開始より、全国41都道府県・175事業に導入されており、関西エリアでは2024年10月に複数の交通事業者による一斉導入を実現している。
