大阪 岸和田 永野市長に再び不信任案可決 きょう付けで失職
女性との性的関係をめぐる裁判で和解が成立した大阪 岸和田市の永野耕平市長に対し、市議会で、17日、再び不信任決議案が提出され、出席した議員全員が賛成し、可決されました。市長は17日付けで失職し、50日以内に市長選挙が行われます。
岸和田市では、女性との性的関係をめぐる裁判で和解が成立した永野市長が、市議会から不信任を議決されて議会を解散したことに伴う市議会議員選挙が行われ、17日、選挙後、初めてとなる定例の市議会が開会しました。
午後の本会議では、公明党の議員が「市の混乱を招いた市長の責任は非常に重いにもかかわらず、辞職しないだけでなく、大義なく議会を解散し、ばく大な市民の血税を使ったことは言語道断だ」などとして、市長に対する不信任決議案を再び提出しました。
そして、採決の結果、出席した23人の議員全員が賛成し、可決されました。
一方、議会の解散に伴う市議会議員選挙で初当選した永野市長の妻、永野紗代氏は、不信任決議案に反対する意向を示していましたが、地方自治法には、議員は自身や親族などに利害関係のある議事には参加できないという規定があり、決議案の審議を前に議場から退席し、採決には参加しませんでした。
市長は17日付けで失職し、50日以内に市長選挙が行われます。
