専門店のようなおいしさと高級感のある雰囲気が人気のファミレスチェーン「ロイヤルホスト」。

今回は9月10日に登場した新メニュー「チョコファッジソースのパンケーキ」をご紹介します。価格は1188円（以下、すべて税込）です。
焼き立てのパンケーキにバナナとバニラアイス、さらにホイップクリームをトッピングした、シンプルながらも贅沢な一品。
別添えには温かいチョコソースが用意されています。
パンケーキは3枚重ねのシンプルなタイプ。全体に焼き色が付いていて、とてもおいしそうです。
またバニラアイスは白い雪玉のようなビジュアルで、インパクト絶大。バナナやパンケーキと一緒に食べれば、さらにおいしさがアップしそうです。
このパンケーキの醍醐味は、熱々のチョコソースをかけて食べること。
生地に直接かけてもよし。バニラアイスにかけて食べてもよし。自分好みの食べ方で楽しめるのがうれしいですね。
チョコソースをまとったバニラアイスは上品な甘さで、口どけもなめらか。ひとくち食べるたびにバニラビーンズの芳醇な香りが口いっぱいに広がって、贅沢気分に浸れます。
氷の粒やザラつきは一切なく、奇をてらわない王道の味わいが魅力的。どの世代にもハマる安心のおいしさだと思いました。
じっくり焼き上げた生地は、外はサクッと、中はふんわりとした食感。噛めば噛むほど小麦の旨味が感じられ、いちど食べるとヤミツキになるおいしさです。
卵感たっぷりで生地のみでも十分すぎるおいしさ！派手さはないものの、昔ながらの温かみを感じます。
チョコソースはねっとり濃厚で、甘さの中にほのかなビターさが感じられる大人な味わい。これがまろやかなホイップクリームと相性が良く、3枚の生地でもペロッと食べられるほど。
アーモンドのカリッとした食感が良いアクセントになっているので、最後まで食べ飽きることはありません。
個人的にはチョコソースが少ないと感じたので、もっと量が多ければいいなと思いました。
